Stuttgart head coach Thomas Schneider has opted for two strikers for his side's return to Bundesliga action at home to Mainz 05.

Mohammed Abdellaoue is handed a rare start alongside usual forward Vedad Ibisievic, with Christian Gentner and Moritz Leitner forming a central midfield partnership.

For the away side Mainz, Shinji Okazaki continues up front as the lone striker, with Nicolai Muller handed the roaming role in behind him.
