Stuttgart manager Armin Veh hints at Antonio Rudiger exit

Stuttgart manager Armin Veh admits that defender Antonio Rudiger could leave the club if a "really big" team wanted to sign him.

Stuttgart manager Armin Veh has claimed that defender Antonio Rudiger would be sold if a "really big" club came in for him.

The highly-rated German, 21, has been linked with a number of teams across Europe during the past 18 months, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Porto.

While insisting that the club will do all that it can to keep Rudiger, Veh admits that a transfer could take place in the near future.

"Antonio is under contract until June 2017 with our club," he told Bild. "The thing is, how much longer can we keep hold of such a player?

"I understand that big clubs are chasing him, but a move will only be considered for Antonio if he joins a really big outfit. Otherwise, it would be better for him to stay at our club."

Rudiger made his Bundesliga debut for Stuttgart back in January 2012.
