Bramble charged with sexual assault

Sunderland's Titus Bramble has been charged with two counts of sexual assault as well as urinating in public.

The defender was arrested last month and later released on bail over allegations of sexual assault and being in possession of a Class A drug.

The 30-year-old's lawyer Phil Smith said: "My client vehemently denies these charges and will be vigorously contesting them."

Bramble is due to appear in the Teesside Magistrates' Court on November 10.
