Sunderland winger Will Buckley believes that he and his teammates need to get over last weekend's heavy defeat to Southampton by putting in a good performance against Arsenal.
Gus Poyet's men will host the Gunners at the Stadium of Light on Saturday following their 8-0 humiliation at St Mary's.
"We need to get over it fast," The Shields Gazette quotes Buckley as saying. "Nobody is over it yet, but we're on to Arsenal next week and it doesn't get any easier.
"We need to pick ourselves up and make sure our performance is 100 times better than it was at Southampton. I've never experienced anything like that professionally.
"It's a horrible feeling, especially for how many fans we brought down. It's gutting for us and we let ourselves down. We need to make it right on Saturday."
The Black Cats are currently 17th in the Premier League table on eight points after as many games.
