Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher has reportedly had successful surgery on his troubled ankle.
The 26-year-old was ruled out for the rest of the season in March after sustaining the injury while on international duty for Scotland.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers frontman had an operation this week and is expected to return to action for the start of next season in August, according to BBC Sport.
