Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has admitted that it would be "nice" for his side to win their first Premier League game of the season.
The Black Cats are currently 15th in the table following three draws from their opening three matches.
"It is important to win games in the Premier league because if you start falling behind it's a long road back," O'Neill said.
"We've got three points in the first three games and all three matches have presented difficulties.
"It would be nice to win a game but we will do that in due course."
The Wearsiders can record their first victory of the campaign on Saturday when they travel to West Ham United.
