Sunderland keeper Costel Pantilimon is adamant that his side have to kick on from their two good performances in the Premier League against Crystal Palace and Everton.
The Black Cats returned to form following back-to-back defeats with a victory over the Eagles and a point against Roberto Martinez's side at the Stadium of Light to move them out of the relegation zone.
However, the 27-year-old has insisted that he and his teammates can't afford to rest on their laurels after the international break.
He told the club's official website: "It was a much-deserved point. We worked very hard in the game and we performed well together as a team, I think overall the result is a good one for us.
"It's very important to keep picking up points, especially in the manner we did on Saturday, it was a hard fought game and Everton are a difficult team to play against.
"That's two good results for us now but we can't rest, we have to use this as a base and continue to push on."
Sunderland are 14th in the Premier League following their draw against Everton.
