Sunderland striker Connor Wickham has been rewarded for his recent form by collecting the Premier League Player of the Month award for April.
The 21-year-old, who moved to the Stadium of Light from Ipswich Town in 2011, netted five goals last month.
The Black Cats are now out of the relegation zone on goal difference following strikes from Wickham against Manchester City and Chelsea.
Sunderland have three games left to retain their Premier League status.
