Team News: Jack Rodwell returns for Sunderland

Sunderland midfielder Jack Rodwell returns to the starting lineup for his side's match with Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has made one change to his starting lineup for this afternoon's match with Crystal Palace.

Midfielder Sebastian Larsson misses out for the Black Cats through suspension, so Jack Rodwell has been introduced in his place.

As for Palace, manager Alan Pardew is able to recall midfielder Miles Jedinak after he completed his four-match suspension.

Joe Ledley is the man to drop out as the Eagles target a fourth successive victory in the Premier League.

Sunderland: Pantilimon, O'Shea, Vergini, Jones, van Aanholt, Cattermole, Gomez, Rodwell, Fletcher, Wickham, Defoe.
Subs: Bridcutt, Johnson, Reveillere, Graham, Coates, Mannone, Buckley

Crystal Palace: Speroni; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Bolasie, McArthur, Jedinak, Zaha; Puncheon; Murray.
Subs: Hennessey, Hangeland, Sanogo, Ledley, Gayle, Kelly, Ameobi
