Dutch outfit VVV-Venlo have revealed that Lee Cattermole has begun training with the club.
Having spent a decade at Sunderland, the midfielder is now a free agent after being released by the League One side during the summer.
While the 31-year-old is a natural target for clubs competing in the EFL, the Englishman is currently taking part in first-team training at VVV-Venlo.
