Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has admitted that he will dip into the transfer window this summer in order to bolster his squad for next season.
The Black Cats are currently experiencing a disappointing run in their Premier League campaign, taking just two wins from their last 10 matches.
"I'm going to have to look at strengthening the squad," said O'Neill.
"In the last couple of games we might be able to look at some of the younger players and see how that works out, so we have a viewpoint on them for the summertime. But I still feel we need to strengthen."
The North East side have been linked with a swoop for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Steven Fletcher.
