Swansea City will reportedly allow midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng to join their Premier League rivals Sunderland on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old made 41 appearances for the Swans last season, helping them secure a top-half finish and the first major trophy in the club's history - the 2013 Capital One Cup.
However, he has not started any of the Welsh outfit's matches this campaign, with the summer arrivals of Jose Alberto Canas and Jonjo Shelvey pushing him down Michael Laudrup's midfield pecking order.
Sky Sports News understands that Sunderland are willing to offer the South Korean international more regular football and that a loan move could be completed on Saturday.
Ki would be the Black Cats' 12th signing of the transfer window following Paolo Di Canio's overhaul of the Stadium of Light playing staff.
