Sunderland will ramp up their pursuit of Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow by making an improved offer, according to reports.
The Black Cats are thought to have already had a £12.5m bid for the Senegal international turned down this summer.
It is claimed by the Daily Star that Dick Advocaat could now make a fresh bid, with Connor Wickham expected to join Crystal Palace in the coming days.
West Ham United are also said to have shown an interest in Sow, who scored 16 goals for the Turkish side last season.
