Sunderland sign Dame N'Doye on loan

Premier League strugglers Sunderland sign Dame N'Doye on loan from Trabzonspor until the end of the current season.

Sunderland have signed Senegal striker Dame N'Doye on loan from Trabzonspor until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign with Hull City, scoring five times in 15 league appearances for the Tigers, but departed following their relegation to the Championship.

N'Doye has now returned for his second taste of the Premier League and will join a Black Cats side that are currently battling to remain in the division.

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce told the club's official website: "Dame will bring something different to our forward options. Having already played in the Premier League he should have no problems in hitting the ground running too, which is very important at this stage of the season."

N'Doye, who has six goals in 26 appearances for his country, has been handed the No.10 shirt, but he will not be eligible to face Tottenham Hotspur in the league this weekend.
