Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony has revealed that he is happy with the progress he is making in his recovery from a serious knee injury.
Bony suffered the blow during Swansea's Premier League fixture with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on February 3, with the Ivorian soon being ruled out for the rest of the season.
However, seven weeks on from the setback, Bony has suggested that he is currently on course to make an appearance at some stage of pre-season ahead of the next campaign.
The 29-year-old told the club's official website: "I am feeling better. I am almost six weeks on now from the operation and things are going well.
"The doctors have told me that I am recovering fast and I could be back for pre-season, so that is my target. Mentally I am feeling very strong. I am encouraging my teammates, trying to motivate them and make them laugh. This is the best way to be."
Before his injury, Bony had scored three goals in 19 outings for Swansea in all competitions.
