Swansea city players Scott Sinclair, Neil Taylor and Joe Allen are delighted to be part of Team GB.

Swansea City players Scott Sinclair, Joe Allen and Neil Taylor have declared their excitement at being named in Team GB's squad for the Olympic Games.

Stuart Pearce's announcement has revealed Swansea to be the team with the most players among the 18-man squad.

Sinclair shone for the Swans last campaign and told the club's website that he can't wait to join up with Team GB.

The former Chelsea attacker said: "I'm buzzing with the news. At 23, it was probably my only chance to represent Great Britain at the Olympics. I just made it, so I'm thrilled.

"It's going to be an amazing experience, especially with the Olympics being in London. It's a great honour and I can't wait for the tournament to start."

Midfielder Allen was also thrilled to be part of the final group. He said: "It's a proud moment for me and my family - and, of course, Swansea City.

"There's a good representation from Swansea and Wales, so it shows that Welsh football is in a positive place at the moment."

Team GB will play Senegal, UAE and Uruguay in their group games as they compete in the competition for the first time since 1960.
