Dyer: We should complain to refs

Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer believes that his teammates should start to "protest" to referees about harsh challenges on the field.

The 24-year-old believes that the former Championship side were heavily targeted during their 3-2 defeat to Norwich City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

"We are not the type of team to crowd referees but I guess sometimes we are a bit naïve and don't protest as much as we should when there's a foul," the Daily Mail quotes Dyer as saying.

"That's in our nature because we just want to get on and play the game. We don't want to be getting in the referee's face.

"But sometimes maybe we do need to say a few things to the ref. But we have refs, linesmen and fourth officials and we hope they do their job."

The Swans are currently 11th in the Premier League table with 30 points.
