Swansea City defender Federico Fernandez has insisted that restricting Premier League champions Chelsea to just a point gives the team "confidence" for the rest of the season.
Garry Monk's side came from behind twice to seal a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea's second goal went down as an own goal by Fernandez, but the defender swiftly got over that when Bafetimbi Gomis scored from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was sent off.
"We showed great concentration throughout the game," Fernandez told he club's official website. "We're very happy because it gives us confidence for the season, especially for all of the new players.
"We will work hard for next weekend's game against Newcastle. This point is important, but we need to make sure we follow up with a win next Saturday."
The Swans will face Newcastle United at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday.
