Francesco Guidolin unhappy with 'poor Ki Sung-yueng attitude'

Francesco Guidolin criticises Ki Sung-yueng's attitude after the midfielder reacted angrily to being substituted in the defeat to Southampton on Sunday.

Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin has hit out at midfielder Ki Sung-yueng for his reaction to being hauled off in the second half of the 1-0 defeat to Southampton.

The South Korea international did not shake his manager's hand when being replaced by Jefferson Montero shortly after the hour mark at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon.

It comes just a week on from Neil Taylor also reacting angrily at Guidolin's decision to take him off late in the first half of the eventual 2-2 draw with Chelsea, and the Italian admits to being unhappy with what he has seen from certain players.

"This is not a good attitude. I have to speak with him," he told BBC Sport. "I respect all people, all my players because the relationship is the most important thing for me.

"In this league, in this squad I've found good, good guys. Good players - no problem for relationships. I can understand [Ki's disappointment], but it's not a good situation."

Defeat for Swansea on the south coast leaves them in 15th place, with back-to-back games against Manchester City to come in the next week in league and cup.
