Swansea City attacking midfielder Michu believes that La Liga is the best domestic football league in the world.
The 26-year-old joined the Premier League club from Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano in the summer for £2m.
"The Spanish league is the best in the world because it contains Barcelona and Madrid and Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and a few other players that could be considered as the best in the world in their positions," he told AS.
"But the Premier League is way ahead in terms of organisation, stadiums, selling tickets in advance and with set kickoff times.
"The fact that in Spain games have been starting on one day and finishing the next day shows that the league shows little consideration for the fans."
Michu has also played for Spanish clubs Real Oviedo and Celta de Vigo in his career.
