Swansea City boss Garry Monk: 'Every player's position is under threat'

Monk: 'Players' positions under threat'

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has warned his players that they are not guaranteed a place in his team.

The Welsh outfit have been searching for a win having recorded a draw and two defeats in their last three Premier League games.

Monk's side will take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

"Of course, everyone's position will be under threat," Monk told reporters. "That's why you have competition in the squad.

"I have got players who have not had the minutes they would have liked, and the players who have played know they need to perform. They have to fight every single day for the shirt."

Swansea are currently 11th in the table.
