Angel Rangel: 'Everyone is united at Swansea City'

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel insists that there is no dressing room split at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel believes that his side has shown over the past two games that there is no split in the dressing room at the Welsh club.

It was reported at the start of the year that there had been a dispute between the Spanish players and the rest of the squad at the Liberty Stadium, but Rangel has insisted that there is a "togetherness" between the players.

The 31-year-old is quoted by Wales Online as saying: "Things like the language barrier will always be an issue but we are a team, and you could see at Stoke that there are no enemies only teammates; you can see a togetherness.

"We heard similar things last year, that the players were not getting on with the manager, blah, blah, blah, but we proved everyone wrong and we're showing again that we are all together."

Swansea parted company with Michael Laudrup last week, but Garry Monk has guided the club to four points from his first two games in charge.
