Angel Rangel has praised the impact of last summer's Spanish signings at Swansea City.
The League Cup champions brought in Pablo Hernandez, Michu and Chico Flores during the summer transfer window in 2012.
The 30-year-old defender told the club's website: "It has been a pleasure to play with them. On the pitch they are top players, and off the pitch they are a very good group of lads.
"The Spanish influence at the club has been very important in the club's success, going back to when Roberto [Martinez] was here as a player. It's great to see Swansea City having such a strong connection with Spain.
"I'm really enjoying it here and the other Spanish lads feel very comfortable and settled here. We spend quite a lot of time together."
Rangel joined the Swans from Segunda Division B side Terrassa FC in 2007.
