Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton should play for England.
Redknapp has hailed the 30-year-old's ability on the ball and his passing game, and has likened his style to that of Andres Iniesta and Xavi.
Redknapp wrote in his column in The Sun: "To those in the know, it wasn't that big a surprise when he came out top of the league in Europe for accurate passing.
"Even better than Xavi and Andres Iniesta, the two tiny midfield dazzlers for Barcelona. What an achievement.
"Britton's the smallest of the lot but what a great footballer. And I am pleased to report that we are entering an age where footballers can get a chance regardless of their size. Britton is a possible England player."
Britton was an integral part of the Swansea team that earned a place in next season's Europa League by beating Bradford City in the Capital One Cup final.
