Swansea City striker Scott Sinclair reveals that he wants to stay at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City striker Scott Sinclair has revealed that he intends to stay at the south Wales club despite speculation over his future.

The 23-year-old's current contract expires at the end of next season but Swans boss Brendan Rodgers has opened talks over extending the deal.

Various Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, have been linked with bids for the former Chelsea player, however Sinclair is happy where he is.

He said: "I'm happy to be playing every week and to have a manager who believes in me.

"The boss has brought me in and given me that chance, so my preference would be to stay. Hopefully I can keep playing and get more goals.

"All the links to other clubs for our players just shows you how well we are doing."

Sinclair, who moved to the Liberty Stadium for £500,000 in 2010, was instrumental in the club's promotion last season and has scored seven times in 30 Premier League appearances this term.
