Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Premier League clash between Swansea City and Aston Villa at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City will attempt to continue their three-match unbeaten run in the Premier League when they welcome a struggling Aston Villa side to Wales on Tuesday.

The Swans moved up to ninth spot in the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Fulham at the weekend and they could move into the top seven with the three points at the Liberty Stadium.

Villa, meanwhile, have lost their last three matches in the Premier League, conceding 15 and scoring none in the process. Their most recent defeat, at the hands of Wigan Athletic, has left them in 17th position in the table.

The corresponding fixture last season between the two sides ended in a 0-0 draw, but Swansea did pick up all three points in the return match at Villa Park. However, Villa recorded a 2-0 win the last time the pair met in September.

Gerhard Tremmel is expected to keep his place in the Swansea goal following his impressive showing last time out, but Michu is still struggling with ligament damage and will not make the squad.

Villa are expected to make changes from the weekend with Marc Albrighton set to replace Chris Herd in midfield. Meanwhile, Karim Ahmadi could also come into the middle of the midfield.

Recent form:

Swansea: WLDDW
Aston Villa: WWLLL

Possible lineups:

Swansea: Tremmel; Rangel, Chico, Williams, Tiendalli; Hernandez, De Guzman, Agustien, Routledge, Dyer; Graham

Aston Villa: Guzan; Bennett, Clark, Lowton, Lichaj; Albrighton, Ireland, Holman, Bannan; Benteke, Weimann

Sports Mole says: 3-1
