Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has insisted that new signing Wilfried Bony can offer his side "something extra" next season.
The striker became the Swans' club-record signing after he completed a £12m move from Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday.
The 24-year-old made his Swansea debut in their 1-0 pre-season win over Den Haag on Saturday, after which Laudrup described him as a strong goalscorer.
"He's a goalscorer, you can see how strong he is," Laudrup told reporters. "He's good in the air. That's given us something extra as well to see if we can score some set pieces as well.
"We still have some games and he will have to know his teammates some more, like the rest of them. But I'm very pleased, not only in these games, but in training as well.
"The level is really good because there's a lot of competition in the team as well. I have so many possibilities and that's great for a manager."
Swansea have also signed Jonjo Shelvey, Alejandro Pozuelo, Jose Canas and Jordi Amat in this summer's transfer window.
