Former Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup is reportedly interested in reuniting with Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony at Qatari club Lekhwiya.
The 25-year-old striker has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, but the Qatar Stars League team are currently tracking the progress in an attempt to hijack the proposed moves.
Laudrup is prepared to battle with various Premier League clubs in order to sign the striker but the £25m price tag and high wage demands are currently putting the move on hold, according to the Daily Mail.
Bony was brought to Wales by Laudrup during his reign as Swansea manager, and the new Lekhwiya boss does not want to miss out on another transfer target after Michu agreed to joined Napoli.
