Swansea City manager Garry Monk has refused to close the door on a possible return for Michu at the end of the season.
The Spaniard joined Napoli on loan for the campaign, but has made just six appearances for the Serie A outfit due to ankle problems.
"Michu is a Swansea City player and is still contracted to the club," Monk said in today's press conference.
"He went to Napoli on a season-long loan and I think at the moment he is concentrating on getting fit and finishing the season well there.
"I will assess things with him in the summer. It's our duty to make sure I understand exactly what's going on with Michu and I have kept tabs on him."
The 29-year-old signed for the Swans from Rayo Vallecano back in 2012.
