Swansea City striker Alberto Paloschi has reportedly moved to the brink of sealing a summer switch to Atalanta BC.
In January, Paloschi signed a three-and-a-half year contract at the Liberty Stadium in an £8m deal from Chievo, but he netted just twice in seven starts and three substitute appearances during the second half of last season.
According to the South Wales Evening Post, the 26-year-old is close to securing a return to Italy after he received strong interest from Atalanta, who finished in 13th place last season.
Paloschi had previously worked with Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin in Serie A but it now appears that the Welsh club's boss is prepared to part ways with the forward.
