Swansea City make approach for Blackpool's Thomas Ince

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins reveals that the club have made contact with Blackpool about the possibility of signing Thomas Ince.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed that the club have contacted Blackpool over the possibility of signing winger Thomas Ince.

The 21-year-old, who has been linked with a move to rivals Cardiff City, is out of contract at the end of the season.

"Tom Ince is a talented player and he is someone we are looking at," Jenkins told the Daily Mail.

"We made an approach in the summer and have done again for this window, but it is up to Blackpool. He is their player.

"If and when there is a possibility for him to leave, then we would be interested."

Ince has scored seven goals in 22 appearances for Blackpool this season.
