Swansea City have announced that forward Borja Baston has penned a season-long loan deal with Alaves.
In 2016, Swansea paid a club-record £15.5m to sign Baston from Atletico Madrid, but the Spaniard scored just once in four starts and 14 substitute outings in the Premier League.
Baston has just spent a year back in his homeland with Malaga - netting twice in 20 outings in La Liga - and the 25-year-old has secured another period in Spain.
Alaves - who finished in 14th place in the top flight during the last campaign - have looked to boost their efforts in front of goal by bringing in Baston for the upcoming season.
Baston has two years left on his contract, with Swansea likely to sell the player for a cut-price fee next summer.
