Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims that Sweden "should never have lost" to Ukraine following their 2-1 defeat on Monday.

Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that his country did not deserve to lose following their 2-1 defeat to Ukraine at Euro 2012.

Sweden dropped to the bottom of Group D after surrendering a one-goal lead, and the 30-year-old has revealed that the result is "tough to swallow".

"We should never have lost this match. We were leading 1-0 and were in control. This should not be happening. Now the situation is like it is. We have two matches to make a better impression," Ibrahimovic told SVTV 1.

Sweden face England on Friday.
