League Two leaders Swindon Town slip up at Crewe, while Torquay United win away at Burton Albion. Read Sports Mole's round-up from today's action.

Leaders Swindon Town slumped to a 2-0 defeat away at Crewe this afternoon.

Nick Powell and Ashley Westwood were the goalscorers for the home side, who inflicted the second defeat on 2012 on Swindon.

Swindon's loss allowed Torquay United to close the gap to four points with a 4-1 win at Burton Albion. Danny Stevens was among the goalscorers for the visiting Gulls.

Gary Alexander scored twice as Crawley Town defeated Port Vale 3-2, while Neil Harris found the net as Southend United won at Hereford United by the same scoreline.

Gillingham recorded a 3-0 win away at Cheltenham Town thanks to a two-goal contribution from Jordan Obita.

Bottom-of-the-table Dagenham & Redbridge closed the gap on the teams above them with a 2-0 win at home to Macclesfield. Medy Elito was the hero for the struggling Daggers, scoring both goals.
