Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper believes that his players deserved to beat Colchester United in their League One clash on Friday evening.
Despite the bad weather conditions, the home side started well and spurned a number of good opportunities in the early stages.
United went down to 10 men in the second half following Sanchez Watt's altercation with Nathan Thompson, but Swindon failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage and had to settle for a 0-0 draw.
"We totally dominated from start to finish. The conditions make the game a lottery but we played good football and the only thing missing was a touch of quality. We deserved to win, no doubt," Cooper told the club's official website.
The Robins are eighth in the table.
