Half-Time Report: Inter Milan, Torino goalless at the break

Marcelo Larrondo misses a penalty as Torino go into half time goalless with Inter Milan in their Serie A match.

Torino and Inter Milan have both been unable to find the back of the net in their first Serie A match of the season following a goalless first half at the Stadio Olimpico.

The hosts were given the chance to take the lead in the 20th minute when Nemanja Vidic gave away a penalty for dragging down Fabio Quagliarella inside the box.

Marcelo Larrondo stepped up to take the spot kick, but saw his effort beaten away by Samir Handanovic.

Andrea Ranocchia wasted the chance to give Inter the lead on the stroke of half time when he headed an effort wide as both teams went into the break level.
