Torino coach Giampiero Ventura has insisted that his side were well worth a point at Cagliari this afternoon, despite falling to a late 2-1 defeat.
Daniele Conti's strike three minutes from time condemned the Granata to a late loss in Trieste, cancelling out Ciro Immobile's equaliser early in the second half.
Ventura believes that Torino must learn to be more ruthless in securing positive results on the road, particularly with 12 goals conceded in six away games this season.
He told Rai Sport: "I think we can be positive after that game because we were in control and masters of the field for over 75 minutes.
"We conceded two free kicks which they punished us from with their only two real shots on goal. It is an undeserved defeat for us for sure.
"I think that we must become more cynical during games and take advantage if the enormous amount of work that we put in."
The Granata have taken 12 points from as many matches in Serie A this season, leaving themselves 14th in the standings.
