Omar El Kaddouri cancels out Godfred Donsah's goal as Torino fight back to share a 1-1 draw with Cagliari in Serie A.

Torino came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw in their Serie A match with Cagliari at the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon.

The visitors went ahead in the 34th minute when Godfred Donsah lashed a strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

It took Torino less than a minute to draw level as Marco Benassi's shot was pushed away to Omar El Kaddouri, who fired home the rebound.

Cesare Bovo came close to scoring a second for the hosts after the hour mark, but his low free kick was held by Zeljko Brkic.

They had another great chance when Fabio Quagliarella latched onto a chipped ball over the top and unleashed a powerful strike that was palmed behind by the keeper.

It proved to be the final opening of the match as the two teams were forced to settle for a point apiece.
