Torino and Palermo play out a goalless draw in this afternoon's Serie A clash.

Torino and Palermo shared the points in this afternoon's Serie A clash, playing out a 0-0 draw.

Palermo threatened early on in the game and came close on two occasions through Josip Ilcic and Diego Fabbrini, although neither could find the finish.

The home side started to work their way back into the game and almost took the lead on 20 minutes when Rolando Bianchi's strike hit the post.

Fabbrini had another effort on 28 minutes, but the goalkeeper was equal to the shot and kept it out well.

Torino started the second half as the much better the side and came close through efforts from Bianchi and Matteo Darmian.

Alessio Cerci found himself in on goal on 55 minutes, but the attacking midfielder could not finish the chance.

Riccardo Meggiorini broke free for the home side as the game went into the last 15 minutes, but the striker hit his shot wide of the post.

Danilo D'Ambrosio came close to giving the home side the lead on 84 minutes, but his finish was also wide of the mark.
