Tottenham Hotspur Ladies will go head-to-head with Leicester Women in Sunday's Women's FA Cup semi-final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham began their FA Cup journey with a 3-2 victory over Sheffield United, before they went on to edge out Charlton Athletic.

After ousting two Championship clubs, Spurs were presented with a tricky quarter-final tie against three-time FA Cup winners Manchester City.

Bethany England kept Tottenham in the competition with a 96th-minute equaliser, sending the clash to extra-time and penalties, where they held their nerve to advance to the semi-finals.

Robert Vilahamn's side followed up their last-eight success with consecutive 1-0 league victories against Leicester and Bristol City.

As a result of last month's success against the Foxes, Tottenham have now won each of their previous three home meetings with Leicester, giving them a source of inspiration ahead of Sunday's semi-final.

Leicester kicked off their cup run with a dominant 4-0 win over Derby County, before they thrashed Birmingham City 6-2 in the fifth round.

Jutta Rantala then netted a brace to guide the Foxes to a 2-0 away win over Liverpool in last month's quarter-final clash.

Rather than build upon that result, Leicester have gone on to experience a three-game winless run, which includes a 2-2 draw in their most recent outing against Aston Villa.

Yuka Momiki and Sam Tierney grabbed a goal apiece to help the Foxes establish a 2-1 lead against the Villans, before Rachel Daly struck to deny Leicester just their third away league win of the season.

The Foxes will now turn their focus to Sunday's crucial fixture, as they look to replicate the sort of result that saw them beat Tottenham 3-1 after extra time when the two sides last met in the FA Cup in January 2022.

Tottenham forward Martha Thomas is in contention to feature in the matchday squad after making progress in her recovery from a hamstring injury.

Spurs are also hopeful that goalkeeper Barbora Votikova and defender Molly Bartrip will be available for the semi-final clash.

England is set to be given the responsibility of leading the line after scoring two goals in her last three appearances.

As for the Foxes, Jennifer Foster has confirmed that Courtney Nevin and Denny Draper are still unavailable due to injury.

Leicester forward Shannon O'Brien could return to the matchday squad after missing the last five matches with an injury issue.

Foster has also confirmed that goalkeeper Janina Leitzig is fully fit, leaving her with a tough decision over whether to stick with Lize Kop or bring in the German shot-stopper.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur Ladies 2-1 Leicester Women

Tottenham would have taken confidence from last month's 1-0 home win over Leicester, and we think that they will draw inspiration from that experience to help them claim another narrow win in Sunday's semi-final clash.
