Half-Time Report: AS Monaco hold slender advantage

Lavyin Kurzawa scores to give AS Monaco the lead against Toulouse at half time.

AS Monaco are beating Toulouse 1-0 at half time in their Ligue 1 match.

There was an early let-off for Toulouse as Christopher Aurier hesitated on the ball just outside of his penalty area. Valere Germain showed good strength to nick the ball off him, but the referee gave a free kick.

The first chance of the match fell to the home side. Ben Yedder ran down the right and pulled the ball back to Martin Braithwaite, who hit a low shot straight at Danijel Subasic.

Braithwaite had another chance, but after Adrien Regattin had found him with a cross, he headed over from eight yards.

The hosts then had a great chance to take the lead. Etienne Didot poked a shot that was saved by Subasic; the rebound came to Yedder, but he put his effort wide of an open goal.

Despite Monaco struggling for much of the first half, they went ahead with 36 minutes played. Geoffrey Kondogbia worked the ball down the left and set up Lavyin Kurzawa, who made no mistake from 10 yards.
