Lee Molyneux signs short-term Tranmere deal

Tranmere Rovers add former Crewe Alexandra wing-back Lee Molyneux to their squad on a six-month contract.

Tranmere Rovers have brought in former Crewe Alexandra wing-back Lee Molyneux on a six-month contract.

The 25-year-old left Crewe earlier this week following 18 months at Gresty Road.

"Lee's a player I've been watching for a while," manager Micky Adams told the club's official website. "He's got excellent distribution, he's got an eye for goal and is a decent player.

"He's played a lot at this level and is a local lad who I'm sure will quickly fit in with the rest of the squad."

Molyneux becomes Tranmere's second signing of the day after the arrival of midfielder Rob Taylor from Mansfield Town.
