Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore has admitted that he hopes the club can extend striker Jake Cassidy's loan deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season.
Cassidy is currently the top scorer in League One this season with 10 goals, and Moore has revealed that they have enquired about extending his stay at Prenton Park.
Moore told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We will enquire. We have spoken to his agent about one or two things.
"We'll have to speak to the club and we hope that we can keep him until the end of the season."
Tranmere are currently joint-top of the League One table with Sheffield United.
