Newly promoted Fulham are reportedly interested in re-signing Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.

Chambers spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Craven Cottage from Arsenal and, while he was unable to prevent them from suffering relegation from the Premier League, the 25-year-old is still highly thought of at Fulham.

The Sun reports that head coach Scott Parker is hoping to sign the defender permanently for around £12m.

Chambers has not played since he suffered a serious knee injury in December, but is closing in on a return and is hoping to be fit in time for the new season beginning in September.

The former Southampton defender mainly featured in Fulham's midfield during his previous spell and was named the club's player of the year, although it is thought that Parker would prefer to use him at centre-back.

Arsenal currently have a plethora of central defensive options on their books and are hoping to sell players in order to raise funds to strengthen their squad.

Newly-promoted trio Leeds, West Brom and Fulham 'join race to sign Ryan Fraser'

Newly-promoted trio Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham have all reportedly joined the race to sign free agent Ryan Fraser.

The 26-year-old is searching for a new club after letting his contract run down at Bournemouth, where he had been for the last seven years.

Fraser also turned down a short-term contract which would have seen him play for the Cherries following the resumption of the Premier League in June after his contract had already expired.

The Scotsman's absence in Eddie Howe's side seemed to have been felt as Bournemouth were relegated after a five-year spell in the top flight.

Despite that, 90min reports that Fraser has been monitored by several Premier League clubs, although both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have pulled themselves out of the race to sign the winger, leaving the door open for a number of other clubs to make their move.

Along with Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Newcastle United, newly-promoted trinity Leeds, West Brom and Fulham are all keen to add Fraser to their squads.

The Scot, who experienced a difficult 2019-20 campaign, starred the season prior with a tally of 14 assists, which was only topped by Chelsea's Eden Hazard in the Premier League.
