Friday morning's Championship transfer talk news roundup:
Tottenham Hotspur-linked Joshua King talks up Manchester United move
Bournemouth forward Joshua King has revealed that he would be interested in returning to Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The Norwegian was strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in January, but United could not agree a fee with Bournemouth and ultimately brought Nigeria international Odion Ighalo to the club on loan.
Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly in talks with King's agent over the possibility of signing him this summer.
However, the 28-year-old - out of contract at the Vitality Stadium next June - has said that it would be "amazing" if United were still keen to re-sign him.
"I will not lie, because I really wanted to go there in January, but what happened, happened. I know why things happened. We'll just have to wait and see. There is a lot that is open," King told TV2.
"I have a dream to play in the Champions League. Whether it will happen this season or in two years, I do not know. But I have a dream about it that all boys have. What if United are still interested? That would be amazing. I was at United for five years and I learned lot there."
King represented the Red Devils between 2008 and 2013 but only made two first-team appearances before moving on.
Derby County keen on Leeds United attacker Tyler Roberts?
Leeds United attacker Tyler Roberts has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Derby County.
Having contributed four goals and one assist from 23 outings last season, Roberts is currently preparing to feature in Marcelo Bielsa's Premier League squad.
However, according to Football Insider, the Wales international is attracting attention from Championship club Derby.
With Leeds being linked with a big-money deal for Udinese playmaker Rodrigo De Paul, Roberts could soon find himself down the pecking order at Elland Road.
The Rams are seemingly prepared to tempt the 21-year-old into a switch to Pride Park by giving him the chance to play as a centre forward, rather than in the number 10 role.
As it stands, Bielsa is likely to be against selling the prospect, despite just two years remaining on his contract.
