Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta will leave the club after rejecting a new contract.
The 27-year-old has broken off negotiations with the German club and will therefore become a free agent at the end of June.
"Tranquillo has turned down our offer and he will leave us on June 30," said Bayer's general manager Wolfgang Holzhauser on the club's website.
"This is very regrettable because we wanted to extend his contract, but we could not reach an agreement financially."
Newcastle United, Sunderland and Wigan Athletic are reportedly interested.
