Cacau "can imagine" Stuttgart exit

Cacau would be open to leaving Stuttgart in a bid for first-team football to get back into the international reckoning.

German forward Cacau has admitted that he would be open to leaving Stuttgart in a bid for first-team football to raise his international profile.

The 2014 World Cup in his native Brazil could be Cacau's last chance at an international tournament after missing out on Joachim Low's final Germany squad, and Cacau is willing to move to help his chances.

Speaking to Bild, Cacau said: "Not playing so often for Stuttgart cost me my place at the Euros.

"If I carry on getting so few appearances, then I can forget about my dream of playing at the World Cup in Brazil. I will listen to offers and if everything is right, then I can imagine leaving - I want to play."

Cacau has six goals in 23 caps for Germany.
