Former Real Madrid striker Raul has reportedly agreed to join the New York Cosmos.
The 37-year-old had announced his retirement earlier this year following two seasons at Qatari club Al Sadd.
However, according to ESPN, the Spaniard could sign a contract with New York this week ahead of the start of the 2015 spring season.
The report also claims that Raul will be the head of the Cosmos youth academy, which is believed to be launching next year.
Raul is Madrid's all-time leading scorer with 323 goals.
