Ukraine coach Oleg Blokhin has claimed that he is "satisfied" with his side's performance, despite losing 2-0 to Group D rivals France on Friday.
Jeremy Menez and Yohan Cabaye scored in quick succession to inflict a first defeat on the co-hosts at Euro 2012.
"In the first half, it was an even game," Blokhin told reporters.
"In the second, we were unable to score and France were. I'm satisfied with our play but unfortunately everything didn't go as planned."
However, the 59-year-old hopes that his side weren't feeling complacent after an opening win against Sweden st the start of the week.
"The win against Sweden didn't guarantee us anything, so if we thought we were in the quarters, we made a mistake," he added.
Ukraine take on England in their final group game on Tuesday.
