Nuno praises 'hungry players'

Valencia boss Nuno praises the hunger of his players following Los Che's impressive start to the season.

Valencia boss Nuno believes that his players' hunger will serve the club well in their fight for Champions League football this season.

Los Che have started the new season in brilliant fashion, with 17 points from their seven matches leaving them in second spot in the table, just two points behind leaders Barcelona.

"The players all want to play for Valencia CF, they look to win at all times and they are hungry," he told vcfplay.com.

"The tactics have to be constructed in relation to the players that you have as I believe that an organised team is always closer to winning a game. Our philosophy for defending well is wanting to attack earlier, and we have great attacking capabilities here."

Nuno took charge of the Spanish side this summer.
